10 reasons to be a rugby lover, according to a woman

When I was little, watching a rugby match used to be a torture, but I have to admit now that I just LOVE it. I have just learnt through the years to see it differently by following my dad in stadiums, club houses crammed with men full of testosterone, a fresh beer in the hand. Trust me, it is worth it !

1 ) THE CRUNCH, as legendary as a Stark & Lannister war.

2 ) When a player falls down ( in a aesthetic way, though ), there is a good reason. No football drama allowed here.

3 ) When you sit next to a supporter of the other team, it will not finish in a blood bath haha.

4 ) You can kick your opponent during the match and toast with him after. No hard feelings, right ?

5 ) Beer, pubs and national hymns. All in the most festive spirit !

6 ) The Gods of the stadium calender. OMG.

7 ) There is no better way to impress your man than knowing the rules 😉

8 ) The face of your favorite player will not be distorted by a video game.

9 ) I am always fascinated and amused by the All Black’ Haka. So mythical !

10 ) Jonny Wilkinson. What a man.

The Rugby World Cup 2015 is coming…Go France !

Back to the future ?

It’s been while since I wrote my last article, but guess what ? I am back for good !

Working for a kids camp on July can be really nice, but do you no what it means ? NO time for cute clothes, NO time for crazy summer hairstyles, NO time for ANYTHING when you work like a mom who has to take care of 60 children !

Whatever, I finally had the time to check for autumn outfits ideas, and I was surprised to find some really cool styles…from 2013. Some of them are just too timeless to be forgotten !

French fairytale

Who has never dreamt of quitting his job to travel all around the world ? Discovering new cultures, new landscapes..That is tempting. But do you really need to go that far ? I decided to look for all the treasures in my own country, and I can tell you that I still have a lot of surreal places to visit !

Eze

” The french Venice” : Colmar

Mont Saint Michel

Rouen

Bordeaux. I just love this city !

Annecy Lake. Wow, just wow.

Every country is full of treasures, you just have to look closer ! xx

Running motivation

When summer holidays are coming, I know it is the time for me to leave my Vans for some running shoes. Summer always implies parties, cute boys, but also intense activities…This is why I need to be a bit more sporty than usual, and my spotify playlist is the best way to get motivated. Old songs, new beats.. I tried to mix several styles to help you to rock your body !

Enjoy ! xx

Teen nostalgia…

I don’t know if it is because I am on holidays now or because my sister left high school for college next year, but I really feel nostalgic. High school is definitely one of the best moments of our lives for most of us with its batch of akward, crazy, boring and surprising angles.

This is why I decided to start a teen movie marathon, haha. Here are the movies I decided to watch again !

1) Mean Girls. Classic.

2) The Spectacular Now

3) American Pie. Yeah..

4) The Breakfast Club. You have to see this one.

5) Easy A

6) Project X, or the party I always wanted to organize.

7) The Social Network. [ It takes place in Harvard, but whatever ]

BONUS : You can also watch Blue Mountain State, or the high school I had to go to ! xx

Paris is awkward.

As a student in Paris for three years now, I had the time to notice, of course, the magical and obvious romantic side of the most beautiful city in the world, but guess what ? It is also full of unexplainable things, trust me.

1 ) I call it the escalator madness . When you go to Paris, the first thing you have to know is that you have to choose a side and stick to it when you take an escalator. Two simple rules:  Right side, you can walk or just wait for the end. Left side: MOVE, or get prepared to see the rest of the people behind you getting reeeeeaaaaally pissed. Just keep walking, please.

2 ) Speaking loudly in the subway is also a bad idea. People hate that more than anywhere else in the world,  I see it each time I am with some friends and realise that I am actually NOT alone, haha.

3 ) I am not surprised anymore to see people going out with cats on a leash in the Tuileries garden, or even everywhere though.

4 ) Parisians don’t really spend their time around the Eiffel Tower, especially students like me. We do prefer bars and nightclubs of the Bastille area for example.

5 ) Visiting a cemetery can be cool. Don’t ask me why, but I love to walk in Le Père Lachaise cemetery. It is huge, wonderful & mysterious at the same time. Moreover, famous people are actually sleeping there, like Jim Morrison or Oscar Wilde.

Paris is weird, but that is the way I like it ! xx
